My name is Héctor Escalona; I study English at the “Pedagógico de Caracas”. I think that ELT gives you a wonderful opportunity to share with people and at the same time influence them in a positive way. For this reason, I think that teaching is a big responsibility.

Working as a teacher is more than a job; it is a wonderful opportunity for helping people, not only in the educational field, but also in different aspects of the human life. When you have such kind of job, you are not only someone who teaches, but a model to be followed. Teaching is good and satisfactory, but at the same time, it is a big responsibility, so if you are going to be a teacher, you really need to be sure that it is your vocation.
